Why You Can't Stop Snapping At Your Child

You love your children.
You try hard every day.
And yet some moments push you past your limits so fast it scares you.

One sound. One cry. One refusal.
And your whole body shifts into something you can’t stop… rage, anger, panic, shutdown, numbness.

Before you’ve even had a chance to think.

Then comes the shame, the guilt, the self-judgment…
“What is wrong with me?”
“Why can’t I control this?”

You’re not failing.
You’re not broken.
And you’re not the only mother feeling this way.

These reactions are not parenting flaws.
They are protection responses, shaped by experiences that overwhelmed your system long before these moments with your child.

This guide will help you understand that.

What You'll Find Inside:

01

Why your nervous system reacts faster than your logic.

02

How your birth or perinatal experience may be shaping your reactions now.

03

Why you go from calm to overwhelmed in seconds.

04

The first step to breaking the cycle of yelling, rage, shutdown or shame.

Fiona Rogerson Birth Trauma Counsellor

A little about me

Hi, I'm Fiona

I’m a Perinatal and Trauma Counsellor for women who have experienced perinatal and birth trauma, and are weathering its ongoing impacts.

Using my signature RISE Framework around birth and perinatal trauma recovery, I lead a private practice of incredible, dedicated perinatal counsellors where every day we change lives.

As a mother of 3 myself, combined with years working as a birth and postnatal doula, childbirth educator, and now trauma therapist, my mission here is to support women on all sides of the dice… through antenatal education, counselling and therapy, and change within the system that brings them so much harm.
